Nextbangalore: Visions For Heritage

In the last 10 years, Bengaluru has lost nearly 1000 old heritage buildings, both private and state-owned, to demolition. If we are to save the remaining, like the Balabrooie guesthouse, we must first know where and what they are.
If you know a building or a precinct that you think must be conserved as part of Bengaluru’s heritage, help us by identifying it on this map. Encourage your friends, family and colleagues to do the same, more the suggestions, the better.
Once this map is ready, it will be a powerful representation of knowledge on the city’s heritage, crowdsourced from you, the citizens. Powerful enough to be the first step towards reclaiming our heritage.
